Chirurgus

Hierodeacon Aretaeus, the Grand Chirurgus of Labardiche was a reclusive figure. He was the first to discover the true extent of the pestilence that came with the bombardment of the besiged city and worked tirelessly on finding a cure. Or so was claimed at least. As time went by, many started to question the medical nature of the hospitals run by the chirugi, as the only thing that came out of there were endless hordes of twisted abominations. Aretaeus himself would never leave the walls of the Horned Valetudinarium, since the horrific rituals he had undergone to stay alive bound him to the machinery within the building.
